What are the steps in booking a honeymoon with TwinCitiesHoneymoon.com?
- Our goal is to make your research and planning process convenient and pleasant – offering options to suit your preferences.
- To begin, browse the website for ideas and information – or just call us and we can help you to narrow your options and provide guidance in selecting the perfect trip.
- At some point, we hope you will contact us by phone or e-mail. We believe that you will be served better working with one of our honeymoon experts than buying direct from the Internet. The personal touch makes all the difference!
- Request a price quote online - or call us to discuss. We will have our lowest possible rate back to you within no later than the next business day. The quote is good for 24 hours based on availability at the time of booking.
- When you are ready to make your reservation, we will need credit card information sent by fax with a copy of the card and your signature. Final payment will be due between 75 and 60 days prior to departure. Trip cancellation insurance is available and is highly recommended.
- You will receive your vacation package documents with everything you need at least 14 days prior to departure. This package will include vouchers for transportation to/from the airport and resort, resort voucher, and airline tickets if they were ordered as part of your package.
How do price quotes work?
- The price quote function allows you to select your departure dates, departure city, your hotel and room type. It will then offer you an approximate price based on your selections. Please go ahead and e-mail your price quote request to us. One of our honeymoon experts will check availability and check for any promotions or special prices. You will then receive a return e-mail with the lowest price available for your request.
When I request a price quote is that the same as making a reservation?
- No. When you request and receive a price quote, your agent will create a “courtesy reservation” on your behalf. You are under no obligation and have 24 hours to decide if you would like to make a reservation and firm up your plans. If you choose not to make a reservation, your courtesy reservation will be cancelled. You can always check back at a later date for another quote. For best prices and availability, booking early is recommended.
How can I obtain a brochure?
- You can obtain a brochure by calling any of our offices or stopping by and meeting one of the specialists.

What is included in an “all inclusive” honeymoon vacation?
- All inclusive resorts are intended to provide you with a set price that includes most, but not all, of your expenses that you will incur on your honeymoon. All inclusive resorts have become quite popular for a number of reasons – including the ability to plan your budget in advance and the worry free nature of having most everything prepaid.
What forms of payment does TwinCitiesHoneymoon.com accept?
- TwinCitiesHoneymoon.com accepts all major credit cards, plus cash and personal checks.
What if I have to change the dates of a trip that I have paid for?
- Revisions are also subject to availability at the hotels and resorts, and with the airlines. The price of your trip may be more or less than your original trip based upon many factors.
What if I have to cancel my trip?
- Refund amounts will be based on any charges imposed by airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, tour companies, etc. – plus a $25 per person agency cancellation fee. Please see information on trip cancellation insurance.
When will I get my documents?
- Documents will be mailed to you approximately 14 days prior to departure.
Do I need a passport?
- It depends on the country that you are visiting. For Mexico and the Caribbean, U.S. and Canadian citizens must have a valid passport. To start the process of applying for a passport you can visit the State Department website for an application. Don't be turned away because you didn't bring the correct document!
How much luggage can I take with me?
- The limit is two pieces of checked baggage and one carry-on piece per person. Each airline charges for luggage differently but most charge at least $15 each way for the first piece of luggage. Your travel specialist can advise you of luggage costs after you are booked. Luggage travels at the risk of the traveler and luggage insurance (which is included in basic travel insurance coverage) is recommended.
What is travel insurance and is it recommended?
- We do recommend travel insurance. Your honeymoon is an investment, and many couples want to protect that investment in the event of the unexpected. Travel insurance covers many things such as:
- Trip cancellation or trip interruption
- Emergency medical/dental
- Emergency medical transportation
- Baggage coverage or baggage delay
- Travel delay and missed connections
- 24 hour hotline assistance.
- For more information, please discuss with your honeymoon expert.
